Welcome everyone to the beginning of the Silver Hammer blog! It is incredibly exciting to be giving virtual space to my dream of having a design forum. This blog aims to showcase the dynamic histories, inspirations, processes, products, displays, spaces, issues and debates that make up the world of design today. Over the past few years, I have been lucky enough to study the History of Decorative Arts & Design through a program taught at both the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum and Parsons, The New School for Design right here in the middle of New Yawk City. My studies, together with a genetic passion for retail and merchandising, have fostered my love of the creative, tactile world around us. I hope you will enjoy what is to come on these pages in the weeks, months, and years ahead.
